I’m lucky enough to live in a village called Aylesham, Kent, England. Over the last 7-8 years, the village has increased in terms of population. Hundreds of new homes have been built, and I was lucky enough to be able to purchase one nearly 7 years ago.
As far as I know, I was the only person in the village with a drone and enjoyed taking photos of the village as the houses were being built.
At any time of the year, the residents of Aylesham are treated to the most idlic sunsets. I am able to pop out into my back garden, launch my DJI Mini 3 Pro straight up into the air and capture some amazing drone photos of the sunset.
I’ve taken so many drone sunset photos over the last 4-5 years, that I think the member of the Aylesham Facebook page must be getting bored of me post them!
However, on most evenings, if the winds are light, and there is no rain in the air, I’ll take a look out of my office window and decide whether or not it’s worth sending the drone into the sky for one more Aylesham sunset photo.
These sunset photos from Aylesham were taken in 2022 and 2023. I’ll continue to take as many sunset photos with my drone from this Kent village until the CAA decide to change the drone rules once more!
